These boots appear to be well made. My 8 year old grandson picked them out and I had them sent to his home. I haven't heard from him so I can only assume they are as great as they appear. The only true review I can give is they were picked out by an 8 year old so I'm confident that 8 year old boys would like them.Awesome boots for the farm. Highly recommend.I ordered size 5 for my son who usually wear yourth size 5. The boot was a little bigger than his other youth size 5 shoes. I wear women size 7 and I can even fit in them. However, I like the look and quality for what I paid($12)Cute boots, 8 year old really ruff and the sub stained just fine. I bought them to dress up his outfits and make his school uniform look neater. They worked out for recess: comfortable, neatness, and special events.The boots look nice and feel alright but l need something a little more rugged. I am very hard on shoes and boots so l am alittle afraid to wear these. I might send the boots back or l might just use them for lite work. But this is just my a thoughts. Otherwise, over all these are nice boots.I bought these boots for my son to wear to a wedding, they looked nice till after the ceremony. Buying these boots I was sceptical. However, I didn't expect them to look like this after only 4 days of wearing them. My little guy usually wears leather cowboy boots but wanted to switch it up this time. He liked the look of these boots a lot and I figured they'd at least last half a year. Maybe they would have lasted if he only wore them for church. He has been able to wear his cowboy boots till he outgrows them and is still able to pass on to his cousin. He wanted boots to wear for church and playing outside, real leather is the way to go. You can scuff them up while playing and quickly shine them before church!My boys needed cute and comfortable shoes for a wedding. We actually tried these on in a store and the salesperson advised they run a bit big. My 8 year old wears a 3-4 depending on the brand. We ordered a size 3. They fit great with room to grow!These boots are super cute and could pass for a kids work boot or a more stylish urban boot, unfortunately one of the zippers was very hard to zip, so I'll exchange and see if the next pair is better!
