Ordered these for my grandson who has a wide foot. He loved them! Very flexible and light, so far they are great. The wide toe makes all the difference. Highly recommend.Ever since I discovered Tsukihashi in a search to fit our son’s high instep, I’ve stuck with the brand. I’ve purchase from the local children’s shoe store and most recently, after they closed, from Amazon. I buy one pair of shoes each season and they wear well. The only complaint is that the Velcro tab begins to fray at varying times in the life of the shoe. We've had 2 other pairs of tsukihoshies but a different style, these are pulling a part at the toe guard and the strap stitching is completely coming apart (the velcro is shredding and i don't think hand stitching will fix that) My son wore these almost every day until winter, so only 3 months of daily use. the other styles lasted the whole year from sept-may before switching to sandles and crocs. They're still wearable, but removing the strap each time just pulls the stitching more. Trying a different brand with actual bump toe guards b/c these just aren't going to make it through spring. We love this brand and have bought them for our son for years. This particular style did not hold up to play. He had a hole through the toe within 2 weeks. They wash well, but for the price the quality is not where it should be.We love that this brand sews the shoe's tongue on one side all the way to the top. This keeps the tongue from being pushed into the shoe when a kid slides it on. We found this to be the best shoe for our impaired kiddo who struggles to put on his own shoes.Confortable, a little difficult to wear and smaller than expected fit sizeThis is the only brand I buy for my 7 year old, and luckily, he always likes them. His feet are very wide, and you don't have to order wide with this company. The shoes just are wide. So many brands (New Balance, Sketchers, etc.) claim to have "wide," but the shoes are no where near wide enough for my kid. If I couldn't get these, I have no idea what I'd do.I love this shoes. I got them for my 6 year old who has Chubby/wide feet and he loves them the straps actually stay closed unlike other shoes that I had tried for him.
