I will update maybe in a few months to tell about the wear.This is a comfortable, durable, and very cute show. My son is 8 years old and he loves it. The shoelaces untie easily. It is recommended to kids who can easily tie their shoes otherwise you will spend most of the time having to tie it. If you double knot it, it works better.I needed some running shoes for my son quickly when he told me he signed up for track. Looked a some Nikes that were so soft, they'd shred in no time (as Nikes do), checked out some Under Armor...too clunky and heavy. Found these and they are pretty durable. They have a knitted top and light foam sole perfect for my kid. He's rough on his stuff so these are perfect. These are pretty light for running or just play. I definitely recommend giving this pair a try.My son needed new shoes so we hunting in the stores. He fell in love with these. However, I always check Amazon for prices versus what is in store. Not only were these cheaper on here, we got them faster as most stores did not have his size in stock and we'd have to order them online. As for the shoes, he has been wearing them for a solid month and has not destroyed, ripped, or broken them in any way. I'd call that a complete win for these shoes.Arrived quickly. Son had them in a 5 1/2 before. I was worried about the big size difference between the 5 1/2 to 6 that happens a lot. Went with the 6.
