I bought these summer play sandals for my almost three year old son who has very wide feet. I compared them to keens and found the keens to be too narrow for him. The Kamiks really met our needs for a wider sandal. The shoes are well made and my son really appreciated the bold, bright color scheme. I have two modifications that would make them even better in my eyes: one is if they were more of a minimalistic sole. I liked the keens for their minimalist sole, the Kamik sandals are pretty thick soled. My other dream modification would be for the soles to be “zero” drop. It’s so hard to find zero drop kids shoes. Besides these two personal preferences, they are great wet/dry play shoes. Great for wide feet and less expensive than the competition. I would purchase again.
